We’ve lived North Bonneville for five years and the trails are my primary pastime. My wife likes the paved neighborhood, as do I, but I really prefer the trails here that are not paved,
but still easy to access and doable for all age groups. Hamilton Island is my favorite with roughly seven miles of trail with amazing Gorge scenery, wildlife and river frontage. Just adjacent and east, the trail connects with the Fort Cascades Historical self guided tour loop trail of about two miles. In late September and early October when the river is low, Ives and Pierce Islands are accessible by foot and are considered two of the most pristine
islands in the Gorge.
Another of my favorites is Hamilton Creek Road, which is across Evergreen from the Canabis Corner. It is an old logging road and not maintained but a very interesting
and natural experience. One more small one is what I call the spawning beds viewpoint.

Decided to go out for a drive today in spite of the weather and grab a few caches. We were told we had to do the Bigfoot caches in North Bonneville so thats where we headed. We were glad we did, the weather heald out and stayed mostly dry. We really enjoyed doing these caches and loved all the Bigfoot statues. Thanks for the fun day.
